Heartbreak for family of schoolgirl, 16, who died suddenly after collapsing during exam

A heartbroken family of a 16-year-old schoolgirl who suddenly collapsed during exam said they are by the support they've received for the teenager. Jessica Davies suffered a number of seizures during an exam at school and battled to stay alive for 12 days in a medically-induced coma. The family still don't know why the 16-year-old died, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Today her mum Karen, 44, and sister Amanda, 24, opened up the family photo album as they recalled fond memories of her - she was a big Justin Bieber fan, had dreams of being a make-up artist, travelling and visiting her favourite place in Turkey,

Jessica had a seizure while taking an exam at St Cuthbert’s High School in St Helens on March 11 before she was taken by ambulance to Whiston Hospital, where the pupil had two more seizures.
She was transferred to the Walton Centre for an operation and tests as doctors tried to establish what was wrong with her. The family say they still do not know why she died.

Quite sad
