Man loses control of his SUV, nearly sending it over a ledge, and is then hit by a passing tour bus as he gets out of the car
A driver who lost control of his vehicle and nearly went off a cliff in California managed to climb out of his car before being hit by a passing tour bus. Silviano Gonzalez Ramirez was conscious and breathing when he was taken to a hospital following the two crashes in Malibu on Saturday, Los Angeles County Sheriff's officials said.Investigators say Ramirez lost control of his SUV, which slammed into a guardrail and hung precariously over the side of the cliff.
Ramirez was disoriented and when he got outof the vehicle he stepped into lanes of traffic and was struck by a tour bus, officials said, according to ABC.The California Highway Patrol said that Ramirez is being treated at the hospital for major but non-life-threatening injuries.The crashes, which were reported at about 4.30pm on Saturday, are being investigated by the highway patrol.
Thankfully, he's responding to treatment as they ain't really bad.
