Heartbreaking photo shows devastated son kneeling over hero dad’s body after he was killed by thief in getaway car
A SON knelt beside his beloved father’s body in the middle of a street — clutching his dad’s cap — after the man was mowed down trying to stop a thief in New York.
“All you’re going to hear is good things,’’ Anthony Dellegrazie told The New York Post through tears when asked about his father, Phil, 63.
Phil Dellegrazie, an ironworker, was carrying boxes outside his shop, A&D Iron Works in Greenwood, at around 9am when a thief hopped into his brand-new flatbed truck and zoomed off, police and witnesses in Brooklyn said.
