Ways to Clear Get Rid of Acne from Face:
1. USE APPLE CIDER VINEGAR ON FACE
Apple Cider Vinegar is made by fermenting apple cider or the unfiltered juice from pressed apples. There's no need to stress yourself about going to ferment one because you can easily get a bottle from a mall. The above picture is exactly the one I am using for my face. To use, you have to dilute with water. 1 part of apple cider vinegar, 3 parts of water. The water must be bigger than the ACV because it can cause irritation or burn the skin. You will also have to be careful about your eyes. It burns like mad. lol.
2. MAKE HONEY AND TUMERIC MASK:
Both honey and Tumeric are excellent sources of antioxidants. Studies by medical researchers have shown that applying antioxidants to the skin is more effective at reducing acne. This mask also can fight bacteria and reduce inflammation which are two factors that trigger acne. Applying the mask on your face and leaving it on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing up will help greatly.
3. APPLY GREEN TEA TO YOUR FACE:
I haven't really tried this but I know that green tea is high in antioxidants and drinking it can promote good health.
1, Steep tea in boiling water for 3-4 minutes
2. Allow to cool off
3. Use a ball of cotton to apply directly to the face. Allow to dry and rinse off with water. You can add the remaining tea leaves to your honey mask.
4. USE ALOE VERA ON FACE
Aloe vera is a tropical plant that produces gel. I have used this a couple of times but noticed it causes high pigmentation on my face. This was the only reason I stopped. I use on my natural hair instead. But If aloe vera is good for your skin then you should go ahead and use it. It's very effective in removing acne. Scrap the gel from the plant and apply it to your face as a moisturizer.
5. EXFOLIATE REGULARLY
Exfoliation is the process of removing the top layer of dead skin cells. It can be achieved by using a brush or scrub to physically remove the skin cells. Exfoliation improves acne by removing the skin cells that clog the pores.
TO MAKE SCRUB AT HOME
1. Mix equal parts of sugar/salt and oil (Olive)
2. You can add lemon to this mixture (optional)
3. Scrub the skin with the mixture and rinse well.
4. Exfoliate as often as desired up to twice a week.
In conclusion, acne is a common problem with several underlying causes but there are many natural remedies to help you get rid of it, the ones listed above should be a good start for you, it might not work for everyone but worth giving it a try.
